Principal

Cappy Sabir is the nucleus and managing principal of Sabir Engineering.  He has a broad range of experience in the design and management of commercial, educational, healthcare, laboratory, high rise residential and industrial projects.

Throughout his career Mr. Sabir has earned the reputation of an innovative designer/thinker for his design of new construction building modernization, high tech trading facilities, central chiller and heating plants, data centers and specialty custom residential properties.

Mr. Sabir has embraced the current “green” initiative with open arms by constantly implementing environmentally conscious design technique and specification of green products in all projects.

Mr. Sabir prides himself on working cohesively and effectively with the client and all members of the design/construction team in an attempt to develop cost effective design solutions regardless of the intrinsic challenges each assignment presents.

Mr. Sabir is a licensed professional engineer in the states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Mr. Sabir is a licensed registered architect in the state of New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the City College of New York, City University of New York.  He has over 20 years of experience in architectural and engineering design and management.  Mr. Sabir is an active member of the International Code Council, American Institute of Architects, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, The American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers

Principal

Edward Sabir has over 50 years of experience in public and private sector HVAC &R facilities management, construction, and technical instruction which encompasses the institutional, commercial and residential industries.

Mr. Sabir commands the responsibility of Managing Director of Operations.

Before embarking on his role with Sabir Engineering, Mr. Sabir was a respected certified instructor at Pennco Technical Institute for six (6) years and prior to Pennco tech he was a respected HVAC instructor at APEX technical school for ten (10) years.  As an instructor Mr. Sabir specialized in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, programmable logic controls and electrical installation. He has extensive expertise in technical supervision of new construction.

Mr. Sabir also has extensive experience in capital planning and budgeting, contract negotiation and management, estimating, scheduling, and technical writing.   In addition he has over 30 years of experience in Automotive $  Marine air conditioning and refrigeration (Domestic, Commercial and Marine). 

Mr. Sabir is a licensed unlimited tonnage refrigeration machine operator, and a licensed boiler operator.  He holds an A.A.S in Environmental Control Engineering which he obtained from the College of Technology, City University of New York.   Mr. Sabir holds additional certification in Auto Cad Intermediate, and 3D Advance.  He is certified by the EPA and ESCO for refrigerant handling and certified specifically for the handling of refrigerant R410A.  He is a certified installer of GAS-TITE and TRAC-PIPE systems.

Tyrone Fragher has over 30 years of experience in the design of plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial, healthcare and residential properties.

Mr. Fragher commands the responsibility of lead fire protection/plumbing designer as well as plumbing department head. He has established the reputation of being a detail driven and thorough design engineer throughout his extensive career.

Mr. Fragher’s design mastery includes site drainage and sewage pumps, controlled flow roof drainage systems, acid waste systems, irrigation systems, gravity tank water supply systems, pneumatic tank and booster pump systems, fire standpipe systems, fire pump stations, sprinkler systems. Compressed air and gas systems, vacuum air and oral vacuum systems, swimming pool systems, plumbing for commercial kitchen equipment and specialized fire protection systems for sensitive electronics/communications rooms.

In addition to his expansive experience Mr. Fragher holds certifications in both plumbing design and autocadd design from the Mechanics Institute as well as certification in water system and plumbing design from New York University

Ms. Amezquita is a senior Telecommunications, audio visual and security design engineer. She has over 5 years experience as a senior level designer. Her breadth of scope includes design and project management of telecommunications cabling systems and integrated electronic security systems including card access, closed circuit television, intrusion detection, perimeter detection, intercom systems, parking control and life safety systems for corporate, educational, governmental, entertainment, retail and correctional facilities. In all of her projects, Ana maintains strict adherence to TIA/EIA industry standards

Ms. Amezquita commands the responsibility as lead telecommunications, audio visual and security design engineer as well as technology department head for Sabir Engineering.

Ms. Amezquita has gained the majority of her vast experience as a telecommunications, Audio visual and security designer and consultant for Lehman brothers and Ernest and Young. She has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage major new installation projects and renovation/relocations. In addition to her experience and capability in telecommunications infrastructure design, Ana has also designed and implemented Local and Wide area networks.

Ms. Amezquita holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Javeriana University in her native land of Columbia. She also holds an Associates degree in Business Administration from LaGuardia Community College.

Mr. Edouard is an experienced and knowledgeable Electrical engineer who specializes in electrical design for commercial, residential, educational, healthcare, retail and site utility systems.

Mr. Edouard commands the responsibility of Lead electrical designer at Sabir Engineering. He heads the residential and commercial electrical division. He has established the reputation of being a detail driven and thorough design engineer throughout his career.

Mr. Edouards’ design breadth includes low and medium voltage utility distribution systems, on-site standby systems, uninterruptible power systems, fire alarm, advanced lighting systems and overhead and underground electrical power distribution.

Mr. Edouard has had the distinction of working hand in hand with the Sabir Engineering team for over three years and has proven himself a valuable asset along with being a precise and thorough designer.

Mr. Edouard  is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from NorthEastern University. He is also an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

Minnie attended Philadelphia Community College, Philadelphia, PA for two years and majored in Business Administration.  She brings to the company many years of experience in the area of business administration.

She was employed at Verizon Communications over 30 years and worked in Marketing as a Business Account Manager.   She managed accounts region-wide (seven states) and because of her excellence won several awards.  She was a project coordinator with the ability to meet deadlines.  Along with being an Accounts Manager she excelled in customer service. One of her main concerns was to satisfy her customers. 

Minnie has excellent problem solving, organization, communications and managerial skills.   She is a great team player and takes pride in her work.  In addition, she has experience in supervising and the ability to motivate employees to achieve the company’s goals. 

Minnie has expertise in billing, collections and managed payroll in her duties.  She excelled in all these areas.

Minnie has computer experience with Microsoft office, Internet, Netscape Mail, knowledge of Excel, Photoshop, Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft Outlook.  She is a Notary Public and a Loan Signing Agent for the state of New Jersey.
